Commune is a future scenario located in Lake Eğirdir.It is an alternative way of living where humanity settles on water and produce there, as a result of population growth leaving no place to live and produce in land life.

Scenario – System

​

Floating platforms on the water come together to form the smallest common spaces. This common space consists of accommodation area, production area, living area and mobile unit. These small common living spaces form collective living modules by uniting with other living spaces. These modules allow meetings and interaction thanks to the central gathering area - square - activity area, and increase the amount of production.

Each time a collective life module is formed, a public education unit is established where individuals will have education.

With the increase in population, different modules come together to form larger units. Production and interaction increases.

​

Sustainability

​

In this life , which is over fresh water, an aquaponic system provides a collaboration that feeds the whole system between plants, fish tanks, algae and mussel ponds. This will reduce landuse and water use.

Energy is produced by Photovoltaic panels on the the roof.

​

Operable panels in the accommodation area allow ventilation.
